IMBA Canada Insurance Program
IMBA Canada has teamed up with Oasis Insurance to put together a comprehensive insurance program for IMBA Canada members and Affiliate Clubs. We currently have exclusive policies for members to provide coverage for operating a club, doing trail maintenance, protecting land managers and club directors, and coverage for individual members and their bikes.
IMBA Affiliate clubs who are participating in the insurance programs offered by Oasis Insurance need to use our waiver (found at the bottom of the page). It can either be printed off and filled in, or filled in using a computer and then printed. Clubs need to retain the completed waiver and keep a copy on file.

General Liability Insurance
This type of policy is designed to pay all sums that you become legally obligated to pay for bodily injury or property damage caused to a third party by you, your employees, your volunteers, your affiliated clubs and members while performing their club duties. An example could be, a member of the public gets injured on a trail your club is authorized to maintain and that person decides to sue the club and its members.
Directors and Officers
This form of coverage insures the club’s directors and officers against claims usually brought by other members alleging loss or damage arising from mis-management of the club, or other wrongful acts. These incidents are typically excluded from the comprehensive general liability, as they do not involve a bodily injury or property damage incident.
Errors and Omissions
This Form of coverage is a type of professional liability insurance that protects companies and their workers or individuals against claims made by clients for inadequate work or negligent actions. An example could be allegations of mistakes or errors in judgment or negligence such as the decision to build unauthorized trails.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Bodily injury caused by an accident occurring while on a business trip and while performing administrative duties. Or bodily injury caused by an accident occurring while performing their assigned and supervised volunteer duties, including fund raising, trail clearing and trail maintenance duties. An example could be an injury while using trail building tools.
Pedal Power Program
If you are a cyclist looking for the comfort of knowing you and your bike can be covered if something were to happen, you are in luck! The OASIS Pedal Power Program offers third party liability, personal accident, and “All Risk” physical damage coverage for you and your bike. Coverage can also be extended to include competitive coverage. With great service, low rates and excellent coverage we can’t be beat!
