Hinton, Alberta is an hour east of Jasper and at first glance it may appear to be no more than a bunch of hotels, gas stations and restaurants on Route 16. That may have been the case until Jay Hoots was contracted to build a bike park there. We stopped in for a couple of hours and were enthralled with what we found. There was a skills area, jump park, free ride park and a “flow country” track among other things. Do NOT pass this place without stopping to see it (and bring your bike!)
