IMBA Canada Announces 2018 Take A Kid Mountain Biking Dates
February 6, 2018 — IMBA Canada is pleased to announce the 2018 dates for Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day!
2018 will mark the program’s 14th year and will offer both a Summer and Fall date to allow clubs, communities and organizations two great opportunities to host Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day programming.
The 2018 dates are: Saturday June 9 and Saturday October 13.
Registration for Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day will officially launch live on March 1, 2018 and we will be announcing our great partners and supporters of this year’s events leading up to the launch. About Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day
Established in 2004, Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day challenges cycling clubs, communities and organizations to introduce kids to the sport of cycling. The event celebrates the life of Jack Doub, an avid teenage mountain biker from North Carolina who passed away in 2002.
The event officially takes place in June and October and last year saw over 1,500 people participate in 23 individual events across Canada.
