IMBA Canada’s communications team is seeking professional writers to generate premium content for IMBA’s print newsletter, monthly online eNews, and website.

Details:

  • Essays, features, and stories in the 300-600 word range
  • Themes to be assigned based on interest, such as: youth in cycling; trail project showcases; profiles on IMBA’s affiliated clubs & individuals, or corporate/retailer supporters; themes in biking or bike infrastructure (ie: bike parks, flow trails, DH scene); advice or best practices articles for partnerships, working with land managers, etc.
  • Stories, photos, or content will be credited to the creator but owned by IMBA Canada.
  • IMBA benefits tremendously from writers and photographers who generously support our mission. We have a small budget to compensate writers, however we are also grateful to receive any donations.

Prospective contributors should email their resume to Canadian Communications Specialist Rachael Raven, along with any story ideas and availability (ie: do you want to write bi-monthly, or 1-2 articles throughout the year?)
