Arguably one of, if not the very first community bike park in Canada (if not North America), Sprockids Park is a testament to the amazing riding community that resides on the Sunshine Coast.
Over the past couple months, Trail Solution’s Daniel Scott has been working alongside Hoots Inc. in providing the Sunshine Coast Regional District with a complete trail assessment and up-to-date map data. This work is being done to help prepare this phenomenal trail system for the upcoming Sprockids Fun Day (April 28) that is being put on by the students of Capilano University’s Mountain Bike Operations Program to celebrate of the park’s 20th anniversary and to honour it’s founder, Doug Detwiller.
