Hilton Falls Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario hosted another successful Annual Trail Maintenance day with 40+ people volunteering their sweat equity into rejuvenating the trails they love.

Hilton Falls, under the stewardship of Conservation Halton, is one of two parks that offers world class mountain biking along the Niagara Escarpment. Staff at the park developed a detailed work plan for the day, with multiple teams dedicated to projects that ranged from simple pruning to advanced bridge building and repair.

Representatives from IMBA Canada and IMBA Ontario were also on hand to help shape some of the more challenging trail work strategies. Park staff were elated at the extensive amount of work that was completed by the volunteers in only a few hours and comments afterward were centred on both resounding thanks and gratitude.

The local MTB community has fostered a working partnership with Conservation Halton that will see these mountain bike trails, and new ones continue to be enjoyed by future generations – thanks to all that participated!
