Happy Birthday to Parks Canada from IMBA Canada and mountain bikers nationwide!
May 19, 2011 is the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Parks Canada. To kick off a year of centennial celebrations, they are holding a street party in downtown Toronto, and campout with the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre, May 21st.
IMBA Canada will be taking part in the Campout, hosting a Take A Kid Mountain Biking event in partnership with the Guelph Off-Road Bicycling Association and JOYRIDE150.
Parks Canada is a national partner of IMBA Canada, and also partners on IMBA Canada’s Trail Care Crew program, and Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day.
