IMBA Canada welcomes Mike Riediger as Interim Executive Director
On behalf of IMBA Canada, I am pleased to welcome Mike Riediger as the Interim Executive Director for IMBA Canada. Mike brings a wealth of experience in strategic thinking, mountain bike advocacy and tourism, and communications that allow him to move swiftly into the role. His professionalism, and willingness to dive in to solve problems will be vital as IMBA Canada moves forward.
Mike is part of the team which founded the Kootenay Adaptive Sport Association in 2018, driving the organization to become an international leader in inclusive outdoor sport, focusing on adaptive mountain biking. As a Director on the Board of Destination BC, Mike helps in providing strategic policy direction to the organization.
“I am thrilled to be working in an official capacity with the IMBA Canada team and its Board of Directors. IMBA Canada has played an important role in some of our direction at Kootenay Adaptive, making the transition into this role as smooth as it could have been. I’m looking forward to engaging with our partners, membership and continuing to grow this organization as a resource for Canadians from Coast to Coast.”
The interim role will continue for three months, with the option to extend as needed.
