More than 60 people took part in the Association pour le Developpement des Sentiers de Velo de Montagne au Quebec (ADSVMQ) inaugural Trail Summit last weekend, in St-Hyacinthe, QC. The group, which included industry representatives, land managers, local riders and IMBA Canada staff, led discussions on ways to create trail destinations, the challenges facing the Quebec trail community, and improving communication– both interally, and outside the mountain bike community.

Special guest Patrick Kell, Executive Director of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association, spoke about the VMBA’s experience with the regional and chapter model, and their many successes with local Land Managers.
