Over the wet West Coast winter I sat down with 65 applications, a 2012 calendar, and a large map of Canada and started plotting out the 2012 Trail Care Crew schedule.
With guidance from our provincial representatives and input from our national partners Parks Canada and Trans Canada Trail and after 5 drafts of my mad connect the dot skills, I was able to set out a tentative schedule for our new crew. In a perfect world we would be able to provide visits to each and every deserving applicant but since we are working with a shortened season and a very large country we are only able to provide 23-25 visits this season.
Please note that this schedule is still subject to changes as groups confirm or decline dates. Check the official TCC schedule which will be updated as soon as confirmation is made. I look forward to planning each visit with groups over the course of the season and I know our new crew Rachael and AJ are excited to hit the road.
